About Me and My School

I officially founded Jay Jagannath School of Odissi Dance in Serbia in 2018 to preserve and share authentic Odissi dance while honoring my Guru-Shishya lineage and the Mayadhar Raut Parampara.

I graduated from the Mayadhar Raut School of Odissi Dance in Delhi on October 21, 2016, under the guidance of Guru Madhumita Raut. During my training, I performed several times across India.

After graduation, I continued performing in Cuba, my home country. Since moving to Serbia, I have performed at events linked to the Embassy of India in Belgrade and with other cultural organizations.

What I Teach

• I teach beginner, intermediate, and advanced Odissi dance classes.
• I focus on traditional training in technique, rhythm, and abhinaya.
• I prepare students for stage confidence and performance practice.
• I offer in-person classes in Belgrade and online learning options.
